May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the City of Greer is showing our support! This past Wednesday, was “Be Seen in Green Day” for us, which helps bring awareness to mental health by wearing the color green. Green is the official color for mental health awareness and represents renewal, hope, and vitality. Did you know that 1 in 5 Americans will experience a diagnosable mental health condition this year? If you see someone struggling with their mental health, please reach out to them and try to offer support. We can all make a difference in someone’s life or our own if we join together and advocate for one another.
Just a friendly notice to all City of Greer residents that trash service will run 1 day behind normal schedule due to Memorial Day next week. The Convenience Center will also be closed on Monday. We hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!
One last Greer Night post, we promise! Didn’t make it out? No worries! We’ve put together a highlight reel of some of the best moments. Thanks again to everyone involved in the setup and execution as well as to everyone who came out!
