All Aboard for this week’s feature highlighting the entrepreneurs and innovators who drive The Platform at Greer. This week, we’re getting on board with the spirit of collaboration!
Bootcamp graduate Kevin Pahl and his wife Maggie founded Evergreen Traditions which puts on an annual event called Christmas at the Farm. The whole idea is to create magical memories around picking out a tree – wonderful experiences that turn into family traditions.
You still have time to purchase your all-inclusive tickets online for next weekend’s event (December 7-8). Tickets include unlimited hot chocolate and s’mores, arts and crafts with The Childrens Museum of the Upstate, an Escape Artist escape room, a photo booth, yard games, and more. There will also be live music and food trucks. You do not have to purchase a tree to enjoy the experience.
If you make it out to the farm, you might recognize some familiar faces in the vendor area. The Pahls have invited other Bootcamp graduates to be a part of this special event. Connie O’Neill from Big Play in a Box was there last weekend selling her limited-edition holiday boxes. You still have time to purchase a box for the kids in your life through Connie’s website. Rich Johnston from GrowScripts will provide a pop of color this weekend with his poinsettia gift kits. You might also see Jennifer Tice from Lily Pad and Phil Beardslee from Cultivate Sports! Johannes Mutzke from BlueInc Strategies sent us photos from last week’s event. He said he felt like he was at a Platform at Greer reunion!
New this year at the farm: a separate event called Food, Photos, & Firs! On December 6 from 4-6pm, you can enjoy a fully-catered meal from Culinary Compass, live music, and, if you choose the add-on, a private family photo session with Bethany Rose Photography. The event is capped at 100 people, so if you’re interested in going, get your tickets for Food, Photos, & Firs online now. What’s on the menu?
