All Aboard for this week’s feature highlighting the entrepreneurs and innovators who drive The Platform at Greer. This week, we’re getting on board with some recent Bootcamp grads in the statewide spotlight for their innovative ideas. An expert panel of out-of-state judges named Go Fig AI and Blue Ridge Heating & Air as finalists for the 2024 InnoVision Awards.
This year, as the InnoVision Awards celebrate South Carolina companies, the non-profit organization is also celebrating 26 years of fostering the growth of the state’s innovation economy. Judges selected three finalists in each category: Technology Development, Technology Integration, Small Business, Education, Sustainability, and Community Service.
Go Fig AI is a finalist in the Small Business category. Founder Nathan Freystaetter was a part of Bootcamp 14 in May. That cohort was top notch, and Nathan walked away as the winner of the pitch competition. Go Fig’s provides a data stack solution to companies and teams using AI technology. Essentially, it’s a tool that compiles all your company’s data in one place.
Blue Ridge Heating & Air was the subject of our All Aboard post from last week. Chris Davidson and Ben Lagrange are the owners of the established residential HVAC company with locations in the upstate and Western North Carolina. Coincidentally, they were also in Bootcamp Cohort 14. Davidson and Lagrange are finalists in InnoVision’s Technology Integration category. Blue Ridge is currently testing a prototype of its new mold sensor technology called AirGuard in the homes of some current customers.
