This Week's Founder: Sheldon Early

All aboard for a new weekly feature highlighting the entrepreneurs and innovators who drive The Platform at Greer!

This week, we're getting on board with Sheldon Early (pictured above on the far right with the children who had the ultimate golfing experience) who has made an impact on every level – as a Bootcamp participant, coach, and judge, and he’s also making a big impact in the community. Sheldon serves on the board of SC Charities, Inc., the group that organizes the BMW Charity Pro-Am.

Sheldon launched an initiative that has opened the doors of this exclusive event to a more diverse group. For the third year, young children from all over Greenville County got to participate in a First Tee clinic at Greer Golf, eat in a “members-only” country club dining room, and watch the tournament from the BMW skybox. Another highlight of the experience: a peptalk from pro football player Marcus Jones of the New England Patriots.

Sheldon Early is an entrepreneur to the core. Before he was a Bootcamp coach and judge, he participated in the program’s second cohort to work on his personal safety app, Location Lockbox. Early says going through the Bootcamp changed the trajectory of that business.
