Kevin Pahl came to The Platform at Greer Bootcamp in 2021 with the idea to “make picking out your Christmas tree a night to remember.” His company, Evergreen Traditions, has just wrapped up its second “Christmas at the Farm” event series. In just two weekends this year, Kevin and his team welcomed more than 2,500 people and sold almost 400 Christmas trees.
Along the way, Kevin brainstormed with our friends at BlueInc Strategies and Michelin to tackle some tough topics like figuring out exactly how many trees to order and how to create demand for future events. The Platform community collaboration didn’t stop there. Bootcamp 9 grad Connie O’Neill from Big Play in a Box joined Christmas at the Farm this year as a vendor. The Pahls also worked with Bootcamp 7 grad Phil Beardslee and Cultivate Sports to share some of their Christmas magic with local kids.
What made the difference for Kevin? His commitment to see things through and actually do them! Many people (including Kevin 😀) were skeptical at the start, but his tenacity and grit to keep things moving have been inspiring to watch. Keep your eyes open for tickets for the 2024 event!
