with Julie Jacobs, Global Design Manager, Sage Automotive Interiors

Julie Jacobs is the Global Design Manager at Sage Automotive Interiors, headquartered in Greenville, SC. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Textile Design. Beginning her career at Milliken in the Automotive Division, to now more than thirty-one years later and working with cross functional teams she has designed and developed fabrics for concept to production vehicles with a vast number of Global OEM’s. One of the pivotal roles she leads, focuses on in-depth social trend research which informs and inspires new designs and technologies for future automotive interior spaces based on sustainable principles.

Join us on the third Tuesday of each month at Crate Restaurant & Wine Bar in Downtown Greer from 5:30-7:30 pm where The Platform hosts in-person Business Huddles. These Huddles are focused learning sessions on key business topics presented by subject matter experts from local businesses, including time for interaction & exchange on best practices with other business owners.
